Band Boosters of Lake Zurich

Who are we? What is our purpose?

Band Boosters of Lake Zurich (BBLZ – pronounced bubbles) is a voluntary band parent group that all parents are a part of simply because your student is in the LZHS Band. While members are parents of LZHS students, BBLZ supports the entire District 95 Band Program.

BBLZ helps the LZHS Band become an exciting adventure for your student throughout their time at Lake Zurich High School. We assist the band’s directors, Josh Thompson and Sheri Conover, with special events, fundraising, and help out with other band-related needs as required. We’re always looking to add new, productive members to BBLZ and encourage you to come to our next meeting. BBLZ meetings are held monthly throughout the year.

The Friends of BBLZ program is a direct contribution where individuals, families, or businesses can make a tax-deductible donation to support BBLZ and the Lake Zurich High School band program. Scan the QR to the left to donate. Check out our brochure to learn more about us.

BBLZ is a registered 5013c corporation and thus qualifies for tax deductions.

Reimbursements and Deposits

In order to properly maintain the BBLZ finances in a transparent manner, all requests for reimbursement given to the BBLZ Treasurer must be accompanied by a properly filled out “BBLZ Reimbursement Voucher” which indicates which budget category the reimbursement money is to come from. BBLZ cannot reimburse a person based on “just spending” without the reimbursement having come from an approved budget category. Click on the form to download a copy of the BBLZ Reimbursement Voucher.
