Jazz By The Lake (JBTL) started 15+ years ago as an opportunity for the LZHS Jazz Ensemble to perform in a casual setting for parents and community members. The first one was held in the beautiful lakeside home of a generous family who kindly offered to let us use their home to host the event.  This event supports the entire band program and is not just a “Jazz parents” event!  While it may no longer be held by the lake - no matter the location, the main goal has always been to have a fun adult night out, foster a sense of community within the band family of LZHS and to let the kids play! 

This is the largest fundraiser of the year and is for all band parents, alumni, friends, and community members.
